How to transfer my iTunes library on my computer to my iPhone?

I'm really confused as to how I'm supposed to take the music from my iTunes library and put them on my phone. My device isn't showing up on my iTunes account.

If you are using a Windows PC, it may not be installing the drivers which will prevent it from showing up. There are 2 ways to resolve it from a Windows PC.

1. Go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Devices and printers. Look for any device with an exclamation mark next to it which means it's having issues. Right click the troubled device and click troubleshoot. If this doesn't work, got to the 2nd fix below.

2. Go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Device Manager. In order to access it, you will need to be logged in as an admin and accept the UAC prompt if it comes up. Go to other devices and look for a device either named iPhone, Apple USB or Unknown device. Right click one of those and select update driver software. When a new window pops up, click search automatically for updated driver software and it will attempt to find and install the driver for the device

I don't know what songs are missing from my itunes library, and really don't want to manually do it. (I'm transferring iphone music to Ipod).   • Transfer iTunes library to a different account on the same computer? My mum hates that my siblings and I put all of our music in her iTunes library because we don't have a computer of our own. I just created a new account on her computer (MacBook Pro) for us, but I can't seem to transfer our songs to that account. Every time I try to transfer the songs from my iPhone (same songs as on my mum's iTunes), it says that they've been transferred but the library stays empty. Any suggestions?
