How to turn a ringtone into a text tone?
I want to turn one of my ringtones into a text tone for my Iphone 3GS, I don't mind if it's a simple answer.
I don't believe you can have ios 6, which would make the process much easier. (3gs's are too old for that update), HOWEVER, you can probably set it, by going to settings, sounds, text tone, then choose your purchased tone from itunes and set it from there. Hope this helps!

- Why isn't my text tone working on my iPhone 4s? It's a brand new phone. The volume is all the way up and all of my other tones work fine. In the settings, it indicates that it will both play the tone and vibrate when I get a text. It does neither.
- Turn a youtube video into an iPhone ringtone? I want to turn a video into my text ringtone for my iphone (i have the 4), so i looked it up but can't get it to work. I converted the video to an mp3, and clicked create AAC version, and renamed it as an.m4r (from mra). This is the ringtone format that many websites said worked, but i could only get it to show up on my phone as a song, not a ringtone. Is there any way to turn this video into a ringtone? Any help, or links to instructions are appreciated!
- Setting a ring tone on IPhone 4S for all emergency text messages? I have an Iphone 4S and I want to set a custom ring tone for all emergency text messages I receive. These text messages come from a different number each and every time. (ie. 777203777562, 777… ). All text messages start with "alert@erie.gov".Is there any program or any way where I can create a ring tone for all these numbers without typing them all in?
- My text tone does not work (iPhone)? I have the iPhone 4S & the "Alert" text tone set. When I'm on my phone & I receive a text, it rings. But when my phone is locked & I receive a text, it doesn't ring or vibrate or do anything. What do I do to fix this?
