How to turn iMessage off for a contact?
My friend just got a new non-Apple phone, and I can't seem to send her texts cause she previously had an iPhone. I've tried changing the 'type' of phone and even deleting her contact but nothing seems to work.
You have to tell your friend to deactivate her iMessage account by going to this link:
You can't do anything about that. She would have to disassociate her number with iMessage. Could Google search how to do that.

So iMessage works on all my other friends with iPhones but one day at school I turned iMessage off because the messages weren't sending and I used regular text messages. Now that person I was texting only gets regular text messages from me but other iPhone friends can still get iMessages. My friend also has an iPhone but why can't I turn iMessage back on for that contact?
