How to TURN MY SOUND OFF MY IPHONE?

So my sound won't go off. I've tried to use the buttons and go on my settings but nothing seems to work. I'm in school and literally don't want my phone to be taken away does anyone know what happened and how to fix it?

And yet you did not tell which iPhone or which apps are causing the noise. I just move the "silent mode" switch to silent mode. And we're assuming your iPhone has not been jailbroken.

The best thing to do is turn of your iphone completely.

Just flip the little mute switch in the corner, no msg or phone call will make a sound

  • Why does my iPhone turn the sound on and off itself? It started about an hour ago and it doesn't stop? As soon as it turn it off it turns it on again. And if I try to turn it on or off myself it doesn't work. I've tried restarting it and having it off for a while but it's not working.
