How to turn off Iphones Voice and Text messaging?
I'm going to South Africa for January and I'm bringing my Iphone to use as a camera and Wi-Fi when available. I know how to turn off my data but I was wondering if there was a way I could turn off my calling and text messaging so I don't get any big charges on my bill. I have a verizon Iphone 4
First thing you could try is block all the contacts for the time being so that no one will be able to call you or text you.
Secondly you could put your phone into air plane mode and only turn on Wi-Fi.
Or you could just remove the sim card and use the phone. If its a GSM enabled phone.
Or just go to setting. The click on general. Go to Network. Instead of automatically make it manually. And change some settings according to your wish.

- Which iphone has voice messaging? What i mean is, which iphone has the option of speaking into the phone so it translates into text to send in a message? I want to get my mom a new phone for mothers day (she is coming with me to get it) but she always uses voice messaging on her android. I have the iphone 4 and it doesn't have it, so does 4s or 5 have it?
