How to turn off messages that are being shared with a family members on iPhone 4?
So my sister and mother and me all have the iPhone 4 and we have the same apple account for iTunes and if anyone that we text has an iPhone then we all get that same message how can we turn this off?
You can't "turn it off". You each are gunna have to make a new accout. Or have 2 of you log out. Keep in mind tho, I believe if two of you make a new iMessage account, y'all won't have that problem anymore but y'all can still have the same iTunes account. So here's what you gotta do. Two of you have to make new iTunes accounts. But if you still want to keep the same account for apps and videos then don't sign out. After you have made a new apple ID. Go into settings>iMessage>Send&Receive. You should have the apple ID y'all share. Log out of that one an log in with your new Apple ID. Keep in mind that you're only changing the account for messages not the App Store. I think that should cover the problem.

My mom and brother and I are getting a shared data plan for our new iPhones, and I've heard that there's something about everyone getting each app that anyone in the plan downloads. Is that true?
