How to turn off my AT&T signal on my iPhone but still?
Ok I'm leaving the country tomorrow and still wanna be able to Imessege my friends how do I do that with out getting charged? I know it's free but how do I stay just on Wi-Fi?
In all honesty, I would contact your cell phone company. If they are anything like Verizon, their line is probably 24/7. I wouldn't count on directions provided here by people who think they know. If you talk to your company, you can get a for sure answer. When you call, ask for the name of the person that you are speaking with as well as their ID number so that if you still get charged, you have information and a reference to offer the cell phone company. That will be your best way to get a good answer.
If your friends have iPhones/iPods/iPads then you just put it on airplane mode and then just turn on Wi-Fi.
- Sprint contract ended but it still shows in signal? I have a sprint iphone and my contract ended but on the signal sign, it still says "sprint". And i still get voicemails from my sprint number and can't log in to imessage and/or facetime since my sprint line is deactivated and my phone is sprint, so its as if they cut off my network line and now i can't log in… I don't know what to do? - My iphone's screen will not turn on, but the iphone itself is still on? I have tried holding in the home and top button, I know that the iphone is on because when i press the buttons i can hear the little click noises. It is fully charged, and i have not been able to get it up in itunes, but i can access the music on it through another program. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? I do not want to take it in to the store unless absolutely necessary.

I have tried everything to fix it from restoring to resetting network settings, I have tried the SIM in another phone and the SIM works fully, however the other phone wasn't an iPhone… The signal bar looks as follows '_ _ _ _ _ VodafoneUK 3G' may I add that I'm on a TalkMobile tariff, I have had the iPhone for months now, and all of a sudden it has just done this, and it does it everywere!
