How to turn off Pandora running in background on iphone?
My Pandora keeps running in the background on my phone and draining my battery. I went into the app and have completely signed out of Pandora to stop it, but when I looks to see what apps are using up my battery, it says Pandora is running in the background. Is there any other way to make it stop running in the background besides signing out, because obviously that isn't helping. I have also turned off the background app refresh on my phone.
Most Android apps can't be turned off.
First go into Pandora and check whatever menus/settings it has. MAYBE it has some settings to disable notification, to not run automatically, etc.
You can also try going to Settings… Applications… Pandora and there may be an option to stop the application. Also disable notifications for Pandora (wherever that is on your version of Android.
My personal solution for long battery life is to just not use apps that are pigs. If an app THAT I INSTALLED keeps waking up on its own and wasting battery, I uninstall that app and find a less piggish alternative.
