How to turn on my alerts for iPhone 4?
My area recently got flash flood alerts and I didn't get it. I read that you need to go to settings, then notifications, then you go under government alerts. I went down on notifications but I didn't see a government alert. My iphone is up to date. I have iOS 6.1.0 or whatever it is. So how do I turn on my alerts?

- Why don't email alerts show on my iPhone? I just set up my phone yesterday do I'm new to it. Basically I logged into my Gmail account on the Mail app but for some reason new emails only appear when I go into the app and refresh the page manually. My mum has an iPod touch so I know that you can get them. I went into settings > notifications > mail and changed it so that the alerts should appear but they don't… It's an iPhone 4S if that helps.
- Why doesn't my iphone vibrate when I get facebook alerts? I have it set to all the correct settings, but it just doesn't vibrate or anything when i get notifications on facebook. It will just show that I have ya know 3 things or watever on the facebook icon. But I have it set to vibrate when I get something and it never does… And actually half the time it doesn't even show that i have a new fb message/comment… Ill just click the icon and go to fb then i realize i do have messages or comments. Wat the frig?
