How to turn shuffle off on my iPhone 4s?
Every time I go to my music on my iPhone, it shuffles. How do I turn it off and have songs play in consecutive order?
Click on the music icon. Go to the somewhat top right corner. Look for an icon with two squiggly lines with arrows intersecting each other. Click on it. (Note: This can't be done from the song, artist, genre, playlist, or album menus. This must be done while either a song is playing or paused, while the phone is in an upright position.)
Open the iPod app and either go to "Now Playing" or start playing a song. If the grey section displaying the progress through the song is not showing, tap the album cover once. When the bar pops up, there should be two arrows crossing in the bottom right corner of this grey section. If the arrows are blue, tap them to turn off shuffle.
- Why won't this playlist shuffle? ON my iPhone 4S, I have a playlist of 75 tracks that will not only refuse to shuffle, but it only says that 2 tracks are on the playlist and plays just those two over and over again. When I unclick the shuffle icon, it recognizes 75 songs and plays them in order. Weird.
