Hi, do you mean Softbank from Japan? There's no way to factory unlock this one. You would need to ask Softbank directly. Buy a SIM adapter on eBay, that might help.

P.S. Some models can be done using the WorldWide unlock, but yours is not included.

  • Would an iPhone 3gs pick up 4g service on tmobile? I have a jailbroken, unlocked iPhone 3gs that I used to use with tmobile. Before, I only received EDGE service no matter where I was. This was before tmobile began carrying the iPhone on their network. Right now I have an LG Optimus L9 and it has 2 gigs of storage on it so I'm wanting to change to the iPhone if the phone will get better service than EDGE. So, now that tmobile carries iPhones, will mine receive better service than before tmobile carried iPhones?
