How to unlock iPhone 4 from AT&T to T-Mobile?
Today I purchased a iPhone 4 off of craigslist. Its original carrier is AT&T, but i want to use it for T-Mobile. When i purchased it, the guy and i went to the AT&T device unlock request page and typed in all the info. After that it sent an email to him and said that the request was sent and that it would take around 48 hours to work. When i put my T-Mobile SIM card in the iPhone, It said "the SIM card you currently have installed in this phone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. Please insert another SIM card or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier." Do i just have to wait and keep trying until the request goes through? Will the request even work? I have no idea on what I'm doing.
It will take up to 48 hours.
Just wait for the request to go through.

- Reuse T-Mobile cut-to-use-for iPhone SIM card back to regular T-Mobile phone? Is that possible? My SIM card has been cut to fit on iPhone but I'm going to sell it next month to go back to regular T-Mobile phone. I still have the cutout piece from original T-Mobile SIM Card. Can I re-attach micro SIM to original T-Mobile card and use it on new T-Mobile phone, or would I have to buy the new SIM card and activate it again on pay-as-go-plan?
