How to unlock iphone 5 using r-sim 7+?
Ok, surfing the 'net seems that r-sim 7+ doesn't work very well with the iP5 Sprint and GSM sims.
How many of you got to unlock it?
I've tried with R-Sim 7, with the 7+, but the result was a pity: always "searching" and no way to get connect. Different sims, different providers, nothing, nada!
Well, procedure is long and you must follow exact steps.
First, jailbreak iphone. Then install SAM and enable hactivate option.
After that you'll need ifunbox to delete CDMA carrier settings. For my iphone Sprint CDMA, i've deleted folders 310120, Sprint_LTE and Sprint_Virgin from system/library/iphone/carrierbundles.
Also you have to delete all files that have plist extension in var/wireless/library in all folders and subfolders.
Restart iphone. Put regular sim (without r-sim) and search manually for carrier. Then, eject sim and put with r-sim. Follow r-sim procedure. Open SAM and turn off hactivate option and go to utilities and click on Attempt Activation. Phone will respring and you'll have network and fully working iphone. Just don't accept carrier update that iphone or itunes offers.
