Verizon iphones can only be used on verizon, unlocked or not

In the home screen, Press the power button once. You'll see that the screen will turn black. Press it again and you'll see a slide bar just above the home button that says "Slide to Unlock." Swipe your finger to the right and there you go. It's unlocked. Remember, swipe your finger to the right. Swiping it to the left doesn't do anything. Believe me. I've tried. After swiping and your iphone 4 still asks for a passcode and you don't know what it is… Then we have a problem.
