I don't think you can. Didn't Apple say it has stopped supporting the 4s.
With iphone only way to get more physical storage is buy a new iphone. I would get iphone 6 or 7 They should be less expensive now.
If you're asking how to update to ios 11, I don't think you can. You'd need a newer phone, even if you could I don't think you'd want to. It would be super slow, I'd assume.
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
