How to update or reset everything iphone 4s, because i have no 4diget passward?
In the unfortunate event that you forgot your screen unlock password / pin for ANY iPhone (not just the 4s) you have to do a FULL FACTORY RESET via the iPhone's recovery mode. You will need a computer w/ iTunes installed for this.
Here's the steps…
0) If your iPhone is on, turn it off -- Make sure you do the "Slide to Turn off" here.
1) Hold down the Home button (the ONLY button on the face of the iPhone) & the power button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" graphic on the phone. This will appear after the Apple Logo.

This will officially place your phone in "RECOVERY MODE" for the next 15 minutes (It'll revert to normal boot once time expires). If things take longer than 15 minutes, you may need to repeat steps 0 & 1 to re-enable recovery mode.
2) Fire up iTunes on your computer & then connect your iPhone to it.
iTunes should acknowledge that it has found an iOS device (your iPhone) is currently in recovery mode.
3) Confirm the "Reset to Factory Default" TWICE -- like with all resets, it requires you to confirm this decision twice.
DATA WARNING: ANYTHING STORED ON THE PHONE WILL BE LOST IN THE RESET PROCESS! ONLY PROCEED WITH THIS AS A LAST RESORT!
4) Once the reset is complete, the iPhone will reboot & act as if you're setting it up for the first time.
ANTI-THEFT WARNING: RESETTING A PHONE TO FACTORY SETTING MAY TRIGGER THE ACTIVATION LOCK! To get past the activation lock, you will need to log in with the AppleID that was previously used with the phone. If you forgot your AppleID or password for that account, you will need to contact Apple (practically throwing yourself at their mercy) for assistance in recovering that account (as you have to prove that it's your account). YOU Can't UTILIZE THE PHONE AT ALL UNTIL YOU CLEAR THE ACTIVATION LOCK & NOBODY EXCEPT APPLE CAN ASSIST YOU IN THIS MATTER!
