How to update to iOS 7 on my iPhone withOUT deleting everything on it?
Okay, so I'm absolutely furious. I'm still version 5.1.1 so I'm pretty behind. Literally EVERYTHING now includes an update, whether that's Siri, apps, or anything cool really. I didn't jailbreak it. I thought it only needed me to delete a couple of apps to get space to update. One thing lead to the next and I had deleted all of my apps and music. I was So mad! The only things left were notes [which are really important and I can't delete (I have about 32 notes)] and pictures which I have over 31, 000 of and can't lose either because I upload them to different websites and I have created comics which I have on there. I deleted everything for nothing, and had to reinstall everything. It sucked so much. From now on, no update is worth it… But is there a way to do this without deleting stuff like i did? I have NOT seen anything else on this subject and I need it updated. It's allowing me to skip to the iOS 7 update. Any tips or ways to update without wiping out my phone? I really need a good/serious/reliable answer and this is the only chance I have at asking it. Thank you!
Added (1). I just updated iTunes to the new and and I still don't know how to do it. I also have it set to where I can only pull it up manually. I didn't know you could copy notes and backing up and putting back my 31, 000 photos will take forever and/or mess/slow up my computer or iTunes.
Back everything up to a computer, then update your phone and copy them to it.
- Will deleting my iTunes library erase it from everything? I recently got an apple computer and have been switching everything over from my pc. Once done, I'm giving my old pc to someone else so I want to make sure none of my old stuff is on it. I have already imported my iTunes library to my apple computer so I want to get rid of it on the other one. If I delete all the music in the library on the windows, will it also delete from the mac and my other devices it's on? Like my iPod and phone?
- Will deleting my iPhone backup delete everything on my phone? Every time I sync my iPhone, I get the message "iTunes could not backup the iPhone because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone." If I delete the backup, will it delete everything?
- Unlock iphone without deleting everything? So I lost my iphone like a year ago, I found it finally. But I can't remember the passcode. Is there anyway to get past it without deleting and resetting the phone?
- How to update your iphone without deleting apps to make space? Well i want to Update my iPhone 4 to iOS 7.0 but it says "This update can't be installed because it requires at least 3.7 GB of storage… " i almost deleted everything on my phone & it still hasn't gone through.
