How to update your iphone's IOS but keep your cydia data and files?
So I want to get Ac! D Siri but I must have IOS 5.1.1 and I have IOS 5.0.1. I really want to update but I have a TON of cydia apps and tweaks that I want to keep. Can you tell me how to keep them or direct me to a video please? All good answers are greatly appreciated!
There's actually a way of syncing them on itunes, you tube 'how to sync jailbroken apps on itunes' and it will bring up loads of videos for you and then you can update to 5.1.1 and then you can just reinstall the apps etc it worked for me lol cos i upgraded to get siri n all, and make sure you also get siri extentions its ace: p lol
- What will happen to apps installed via cydia if I will delete cydia? I jailbroken the iphone for the purpose of installing an app which is not available in appstore. Now I do not need cydia anymore, I can delete it by deleting its packages. But what will happen to the app that is installed using cydia if I will remove cydia?
- My iPhone 4s is on iOS 7.1.2 and I want to upgrade to 9.2 but do I need to backup my files? I read if youre on an iOS lower than 8 you need to backup your files to upgrade to iOS 8 because they ll be deleted but IIm jumping from 7 to 9, will all my stuff be gone/do i need to save everything on my computer?
- If I keep my data on but also use Wi-Fi will it use my data? I just got an iPhone from us cellular. I use Wi-Fi to save data, but I can't receive group messages if my data isn't on. If I keep my data on all the time, but use Wi-Fi, will it use my data? And if I keep both on will it use my Wi-Fi instead of data?
- I can't open my music on my iPhone 5 because I need to update to iOS 9 but the update isn't working? Ugh i'm so annoyed right now! I can't open my music. Everything works fine except fo my fkn music! Everytime I tap the music icon it just shows up as white then it gores back to the home page in 2 seconds. I read that my phone needs to be updated but the update ist even working! Ughh help please I can't live without music when i'm running
