How to upgrade my cell phone to an iphone 5s for free? Is it possible?

I currently do not have many funds to spend on a new cell phone yet i want an iphone 5s desperately. It looks very nice and i need a smart phone so i can do work away from home. I need to be able to check my email when i'm traveling so the iphone 5s seems like a good idea for me to get. Is there a way to get a new iphone 5s for free with no scam? Like, i'm looking for a legit way to get an iphone 5s upgrade through my current cell service provider? I heard of coupon codes or vouchers that would help me do this for free?

and also, don't AT&T or verizon employees get iphones for free? How do they do it anyway? Maybe if you work for a cell service carrier you can help me out.

No, you can't get the iPhone 5s for free - it's too expensive.

No. You can't get the 5s for free. You have to sign a NEW two year agreement and pay $199 for the phone. Currently the 4s is free on a new two year contract. I do not know where you are at in your contract but if it is about up then you can sign a new one and get the 4s for free.

Now, it seems to me that if all you want to do is check email on your phone there's no reason to go with the latest and greatest. There are many smartphones out there that are cheaper than the 5s.

Also, ATT and Verizon employees are issued a phone so that they can be called in at any time and so that they can talk to customers. Yes they are given them for free, but its only because they work for ATT or Verizon…

There are MANY good and cheaper smartphones than an iPhone 5S, so rather than beg for a free phone either buy a phone you can afford or do think out a smartphone.
