How to upgrade my iPhone 4s? - 1
I just ordered an iPhone 4s 8GB which comes with ios 5 or 6. If i try the upgrade option on the phone or iTunes it'll directly upgrade to iOS 8. I want to upgrade it to 7.1.2 but not iOS 8. How to do it? I saw from the website.apple is still signing the iOS 7.1.2 ipsw files for iPhone 4s.So i downloaded the iOS 7.1.2 ipsw file from apple website (around 1.21 GB) Is that even official and safe to restore that OS on my new iPhone 4s? And is there any other way?

If iOS 8 comes, you have no way to upgrade to a lower iOS like iOS 7.1.2 you mentioned. Trust me, I got a terrible time in this problem.
- When I upgrade my iPhone, can I upgrade to the same phone? I have the iPhone 4S and my upgrade is soon, but I don't want the iPhone 5. And I have some little cracks and my speakers are weird. So when my upgrade comes can I just get the same phone that I have now?
- What is the different between full upgrade and early upgrade? So AT&T said I qualify for a early upgrade on my iPhone now but I quality for a full iPhone upgrade in october. What is the difference?
- Verizon upgrade date? Any way to upgrade early? So today I went to the Verizon store to get the new iPhone 6. It came to 399, and everything was cool. But then, they realized I couldn't upgrade phones until March of 2016, and that if I still wanted the phone, it would come too around 800 dollars. So I was like yeah no thanks, and I left, all bummed out. So I was wondering if there's any way I could get the iPhone but, not for that outrageous price?
