How to use a iphone (Sprint) in Europe for 4 months?
I'm moving to Spain to intern for 4 months, and am wondering what is the best way to stay in contact with a smartphone. I've traveled abroad before but max two weeks and depended on Wi-Fi. However, this time i know I will probably need it more for work related situations. I've been searching only and i get the sim card replacement, and unlock Iphone with the company. In my case sprint, or get a new phone abroad. I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with information.
Can I get any exact suggestions as to what to do?
It would be highly appreciated.
Mostly the most efficient way to contact your family and friend from abroad is via Internet calls or just email them! Long distance calls aren't cheap! You can try Skype voice chat, but it will require Internet though! You can use your phone when you are subscribed to a plan with Data, and use Skype.
- IPhone 5 with Sprint for Europe? I have Iphone 5 with Sprint. I'm going to Europe and plan to use my phone there with local service. Does anyone know if I can just swap out the the sim cards and use the iPhone in Europe?
- I have Sprint iPhone 5 I want the 5S I got my phone 3 months ago? I have Sprint iPhone 5 I want the 5S I got my phone 3 months ago. Can I. Should I. Sell my 5 and get a 5S or will Sprint frown on that? I want a 5S because I could benefit from the better camera on tie 5S.
- How to use my iPhone in Europe? Once I land in Europe, what settings on my iPhone need to be activated in order for me to use it without being charged roaming charges?
- How much does it cost to use an unlocked iphone in Europe? I'm thinking of going abroad and I'm confused… If I unlock my iphone, does it cost anything more to use the phone other than what I've been paying each month already? So will I be able to text/call people in the US like normal without additional charges?
