How to use an iphone 4S on different networks?

I would like to get an iphone 4S to use with Straight Talk. I have been doing research and I'm confused as to how all of this works… I already know that I need to buy a Straight Talk Sim card.
So I need to know, does only a certain type of iphone 4S work on Straight Talk? I read something about CDMA phones not working with GSM or vice versa, I don't understand it so I just want to be sure I don't waste my money.

So basically, can I use Straight Talk with a Sprint iphone, Verizon iphone, or an AT&T iphone?
If so, which one should I get? Will be buying off of Craigslist most likely.

Never ever buy any apple products like Iphones, ipads, ipods, etc on craigslist! Because they are usually all stolen or broken and you will get scammed!
Buy direct from www.apple.com or from the apple store only! If you want a used phone then call apple and ask if they sell used iphones.

The Straight Talk website will guide you through the process. It does not seem like you are obligated to buy the phone through Straight Talk, but once you put in your zip code, it should direct you to the phone or SIM card that you need to buy. The iPhone is not available in my area.

Here is a review of the iPhone paired with Straight Talk:

This means that it's very difficult, if not nearly impossible, to use an iPhone 4S from Verizon on any other carrier's network in the US If you need some information about research paper writing services please visit http://www.researchpaperwritingservice.biz/

  • Will any Ireland Mobile Networks support L. T. E (4G) or iPhone 5? The question pretty much says it all. Does anyone know if any Irish networks (I know Vodafone and O2 are not) supporting LTE:4G data? Specifically for the iPhone 5. Leave the fanboy troll comments at the door, a simple yes/no specifics are what I'm after.
  • Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?
  • If I unlock my verizon iPhone 4 what networks can I use it on? I just bought an iPhone 4 off my friend for verizon, I was wondering if I unlock it what carrier could I use it on? Originally I wanted to use it on AT&T prepaid but I found out there's no sim car tray so I can't now I was thinking about using it on virgin mobile if possible. Plus does anyone have a link to where I can find out how to unlock my iPhone because it doesn't have a SIM card tray?
  • How to hide Wi-Fi networks on an iPhone or ios device? I live in an apartment building, and everybody has their own Wi-Fi network. As I do not plan to ever sign-in to "Bobs House" or "Suzies Living Room", I want to hide them, as my iOS dashboard has about 30 networks to filter through to find mine in the list.
