How to use an iPhone without a data plan?
My friend uses her iphone and she doesn't have the data plan and it doesn't charge to her bill. She said there's something you can turn off in the settings. Does anyone know anything about this? I would like to use mine.

Turn "Cellular Data" to OFF.

PS: Keep in mind your friend may be using a Cellular Provider that does not offer the iPhone as their lineup, but she activated her phone with them after she was out of her previous contract. When you buy an iPhone from Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile you MUST get a data-plan. They won't sell it without it.
