How to watch live over the air television on your Iphone?
Why haven't they invented something to pick up over the local air broadcasting channels for the iphone, or other devices?
If you mean at the phone, it is that digital broadcast is very picky, and more often than not you may be in a no go situation.
If you mean why not an app to get it from the Internet, it is really content/carriage rights that prevent someone from providing even broadcast stations like that.
You can do it yourself though, by getting a Slingbox or similar device and connect that to a digital TV receiver box you have connected to your fixed home antenna and to an Internet connection. You use an app for that device to watch the TV you receive at home, on the go.
