How to wipe clean the data for iphone 4s?

Received replacement phone, and returning damaged phone. I would like to clear all its data before sending it back.
is there a way to do this?

Added (1). I should have mentioned the display screen does not work

Plug it to your computer, run iTunes, and do full system recovery. Means wiping your iphone and reinstalling the OS.

You can just use the button in settings to reset all data on iphone.

  • Will iTunes wipe out my iPhone data if it wants to Set as New iPhone? I've owned an iPhone 5s for over a year, it's currently running iOS 10.3.3 but I've just connected to iTunes for the first time however I only get 2 options, either "Set it up as new iPhone" or "Restore from an old backup", but that last backup is from 2015. So, if if I select "As New iPhone" will it wipe out my data?
  • When you find an iPhone and wipe it clean does that allow you to use it? I found an iPhone 7plus and I looked all over for the owners for about 20 minutes. There was a password lock so I couldn't gain access to the device. Convinced that I would never find the previous owner, I reluctantly removed the sim and wiped it clean. I check the imei and it has not been reported stolen. Since wiping it clean I now have the ability to set it up as a new phone, so I'm about to activate it using a new SIM card. What can happen?
  • Is there a program that can wipe certain apps/data from my device? I'm looking for an application or software that will appear as my pass code on my iPhone that will allow me to enter a certain code (different from my normal pass code) that will delete apps/data that I have selected to be deleted when I use this alternate pass code. I'm aware that the iPhone has a setting that will wipe all of its contents after 10 failed attempts, but that's not what I'm looking for. I need this for my personal safety, your help is more appreciated.
