How upgrade iPhone 3gs iOS 4.2.1 (jailbreak redsnow)?
I have iOS 4.2.1 in my iPhone 3GS it's been jailbroken with redsnow and after restarting the phone I don't have to jailbreak it again.
I have to upgrade my iOS to any newer and better version.
To which version should I upgrade it, I can do a little bit with iPhone regarding jailbreaking so tell me some easiest way/version to upgrade it and also how, I mean which tools I need.
Update to 5.1.1 not ios 6.
goto jailbreakmatrix.com, click on charts, iphone, 5.1.1 firmware and download the redsn0w program it tell you, then run it.
Update to 5.1.1 and use redsnow.
- Will using recovery fix in redsnow jailbreak my iphone or void my warranty? I can't restore my iphone with itunes and it won't turn on, i've literally tried everything and its come down to recovery fix in redsnow, if i was to do it would it jailbreak my iphone? Or void my warranty?
- Why is the cydia icon not visible after jailbreaking iphone 4 ios 6.1.3 via redsnow? First i had jailbreaked my iphone with snowbreeze and then i deleted cydia via ifunbox to show my friends that i have not jailbreaked it then i again jailbreaked it via redsnow (snowbreeze jailbreak does not work anymore) but after the jailbreak cydia icon is not visible on my screen but is visible in ifunbox.
- Why is Redsnow Beta 3 stuck on reboot when I try to Jailbreak my iPhone 4? I'm on iOS 6. O.1 with an AT&T iphone 4 and whenever I try to Jailbreak it Redsnow Beta 3 always gets stuck on " Waiting for Reboot ". Yes I maually selected the 6.0 ipsw and it is still not working. Can someone please help. 10 Points.
- Should i use redsnow, snowbreeze. To jailbreak my iphone 5 ios 7.1? I want to jailbreak my iphone 5 running on ios 7.1 but i don't know which is the best platform to do it. Whether should i use redsnow, snowbreeze or some other thing to do it. I'm not sure. So anyone could advice and recommend me one.
