Husband possibly spying on my text messaging?

My husband has an Iphone. I think he is somehow spying on my text messaging. I had just sent a text to a friend saying someone at work saw them when they stopped by the other day and they looked great. I had mentioned they probably do. Not 5 minutes later my husband sends me a text message that says "maybe you'll say i look awesome"? I have an android phone - he has an iphone. How can he be spying on my text messaging? I'm not hiding anything at all - just kind of peeved if this is something he's doing behind my back?

He could have installed software on your phone without you knowing it. That would allow him to see what you are doing on it. Go to applications or download avast cell phone security. It will take anything off that he has installed.

He is talking to the same friend.unless your husband is a hacking genius, its highly unlikely he can spy on your text messages. Most if not all cell phone carriers do not keep record of the actual text message that you send due to privacy issues and the astronomical amount of storage that would be needed to keep a record of all messages. Only the number of sent/received messages and the phone number they were sent to are logged. The only place the message can be read is on the phone itself.

Ask him about it though, if it was behind your back then I don't think he would have sent you a message that lets you know that he knows (if that makes sense)… Maybe it was just a misunderstanding? Just be careful, if he is spying on your messages then that means he's super controlling and that should be sending off a red alarm!

He should have spyware installed, restore the phone to factory setting will remove it.
