I accidentally did something now i can't type on messages on my iPhone 5?

I was typing a message when the phone began to slip out of my hands, so one of my fingers dragged on the screen, then the keyboard went away. I can still type on everything else, just not messages (texts).

If you plug in your iphone to the computer charging cord and open up itunes there should be a reset settings button that you could press to fix it

Also if that doesn't work, you could just do Settings➡General➡Reset➡Reset All Settings. Can you please give more information? What do you mean it's not typing? Is the keyboard even there? You could double tap the home button. Hold the messages icon. And press the minus button. Then try opening the app and that wil probably do the trick

The keyboard will not appear. Only the google to speak.

I can type everywhere else- notes, Facebook, twitter-but when I try to type a message it doesn't let me click in the message box.
