I accidentally got in the pool with my iPhone 5. All help appreciated?
Is it better to just get a new iPhone preferably another 5 or 5s, or get the water damage repaired? Is one option cheaper or better than the other?
If you have insurance just get a new one and pay a couple bucks, if you can't do that buy a new one its not worth repairing. Go for an iPhone 5s
When you get your phone wet, don't turn it on, doing so will cause the circuit board to short out. Put the phone in a bag silica packages (the little bags that say do not eat in packaging) or rice if you do not have silica packets, if you shorted out your phone by turning it on, might as well just get a new phone as repairing it will cost more than buying a new one as all the electrical components will need to be replaced.
- My Iphone 4 fell in a pool but not just a normal pool? It fell off my pocket and stayed at the bottom of the pool which was filled with sea water for 10 minutes, is there even 1% chance of it beeing fixed?

- I accidentally got soda in my iPhone.how do i get it working again? I didn't completely drop it in soda but some of it spilled into it and now it doesn't want to turn on. I tried the rice thing & that didn't work. This happened yesterday.
- I accidentally got my iPhone 3G wet and now the power button doesn't work, how to fix? As the question name says, I got my phone wet but not completely wet. The home button works and so does the screen. However, the power button isn't reacting and the volume buttons aren't very responsive. I can still shut down my phone by using the Assistive Touch features. The downside to that is that I can only turn on my phone by plugging in my charger which is not something I can always do. Can anyone help me with this?
