I'm addicted to shopping online?

Every day since the summer holidays started, I have shopped online on my iPhone. I desperately need to revise but I can't bring myself to do so. I'm a teenager.

Just pace yourself and do the waiting things mentioned above.
I know I buy stuff online because it's so easy.
Change your settings online so that you have to manually input password and usernames to shopping sites (this slows you down).
Also if you can change settings so that you always have to input your card details manually, then do that too (slows you down even more).

I guess you get the idea. Just reduce the convenicence element and make it difficult or more time-consuming for you to make online purchases. This way you might find yourself saying: "Oh I can't be bothered, let's play tetris online instead… But actually you need to revise so dive into the books!

For a short term solution, just to get through the revision period try turning your iPhone off between certain times of the day and desginating that as revision time.
Once it's off, hand it to a family member for safe keeping.

Put the computer or phone away for a while

I used to only shop online about twice a month and when I got $2, 000 let's just say most of it went to online shopping May-present and now I'm broke… With urges to shop, try and catch yourself and play a game or text or go on fb instead… What got me was the sales they sent me to my email so I delete all emails from stores before I read the subject line. But I feel you
