I'm having BIG iPhone 3gS trouble

So I got this old iPhone of one of my friends… She gave me the wrong code, so the iPhone has now disabled itself… But I now have the right code… I have tried connecting it up to iTunes as it said if I do so it will let me put in the code again… But nothing changes on the phone and all it lets me do is make an emergency call… I have also tried restoring it but the first time it took nearly 7 hours and at the end it stopped and wouldn't work… The second time i tried it took around 3 hours… But at the end it said 'processing file' at the top of iTunes for ages and then it said 'there has been a problem updating you iPhone. Connection time out' ! Its really annoying especially when I know I have the right code to put into it now… Any help would be great.

May sound silly but try updating your phone on another computer if that is possible, I remember trying to update my iphone many moons back using my mothers old dell computer and the same happened to me. But as soon as i got home i tried it on my macbook and it updated with no problems at all, I think sometimes if the computer is old it has problems doing the update.

Now restore your iPhone by custom firmware.

  • Is anyone having trouble with an app called 'Face In Hole' on the iPhone? I really love this app it's great fun! But all of a sudden it just keeps crashing all the time. Every time I open it; it closes straight away. I've tried deleting the app & re installing it but that doesn't work. Also I've reset my iPhone by holding down the home & power button & this doesn't work either! Anyone having the same issue & got it resolved?
  • IPhone 5 having trouble sending group messages and pictures? I just got a brand new iPhone 5 from AT&T. Whenever I try to send a group message, the sending bar gets almost to the very end, and then stops and says "Message Send Failure". I try to resend it multiple times, but it still doesn't work. Also, it won't send pictures at all. The same thing happens. Is there any way I can fix this, or do I need to take it back to the store?
  • IPhone 4s Having trouble syncing with iTunes? I got some new songs today on my iTunes. I plugged in my 4s, and an error message popped up saying: "An unexpected error occurred.error code (0XE800084) Can someone help? I've restored my phone, tried a new cable, tried every usb port.
