I'm searching for an app that notifies me when my iPhone 5 is fully charged?
Recently, I read that overcharging my iPhone 5 will decrease its lifespan.
An app called 'SYSTEM'.
It notifies you when it is fully charged by ringing.
Download battery doctor, it shows you exactly how long you need to wait and lots of other things. Leave that open while you charge.
There's no app like this, and what you read is wrong. It's totally OK to leave your phone connected to the charger even after it's fully charged; the phone has software and hardware built in that prevents overcharging. So when the charge gets to 100% it stops trying to charge the battery more.
P.S. It's best to use the charger that came with the phone.
Its fine to overcharge with iphones, they don't have issues with that like ohter phones do. I've done this for yeras on my iphone and have never had an issue.
- Why won't my iPhone turn on until it is fully charged? So I have a second generation iPhone with the iOS4.3 software. If my phone ever dies, I will plug it in, and it will give me the "dead and not charged enough to turn on" picture. If it is charging for twenty minutes, and I unplug it, it will still say it is dead. My phone will only turn on when it is fully charged, It is really inconvenient. Why does it do that? Can i fix it or is it some glitch that came with the phone?
- My new iphone died, altough it was fully charged I have only been using my iphone 4s for 4 days, and yesterday it died. The battery was fully charged and i was using it only minutes before it died. When I checked my phone minutes later I could not turn it on and the iphone felt very hot. I tried charging it today and after a while it started charging again, but now at 5%. What could have happened? Should I send it back?
- My iPhone 5 is fully charged but won't turn on? It only turns on when its plugged into the charger. When i take it out it shuts off and doesn't turn on, even when its fully charged. When i try to turn it on, without the charger, It will show a white screen with the apple for about 5 seconds and then go blank and not turn on. Acting as if it was dead. Should I bring it to the apple store, or buy a new charger/battery? I have no idea why its not working. (no warranty i bought it online) (its a verizon phone if that helps)
- My iphone 4 won't turn on, but I know it's fully charged. What should I do? My phone will not turn on. It was being a bit glitchy the night before but I ignored it. Anyways, whenever I plug my phone into my charger, it vibrates but I can't turn in on. The screen stays black. What should I do?
