I broke my iphone 4 what should i do?

I've had my iphone 4 for a little over a year and its broken i either need to buy out the contract or get it repaired i was told there both gonna cost a couple hundred dollars. What should i do?

Put the phone in a towel, and then have someone, pick Up the towel. They will think its broken and buy you a new phone!

If buying out the contract is the same as fixing it, then I would upgrade to a newer version by trading it in. They now take trade-ins and you can get a new contract, so at least you get something back for it and thats better then putting money into fixing an older version.

Take the phone apart by unscrewing it with the proper screwdrivers. Throw it in a bag of rice for about a week.reasemble and hope for the best. If it dosent work, sell it on ebay and use that $ twoards a nex phpone, like the nexus 5

You can also buy a cheap smartphone to tide you over until your upgrade. It doesn't have to be an iPhone, but second hand iPhones are available. If you're using AT&T that means you can get a 3GS. You won't have as good or reliable a phone, but you'll have a phone you can use, and a great incentive to treat your next new phone a lot better.
