Are you on iPhone?
Go on your settings and disable " send read receipt " so that he does not know if you read it or not.
On Kik?
Turn on airplane mode. Then open the Kik app and read the message. You will then want to get out of the app and you can then turn airplane mode off and it won't show that you've read the message. You can see verification of this technique below where I sent myself a test text on Kik and it still displays "D" not "R" for the second text. I wasn't quick enough getting out of the app when texting myself the firs time, hence why that didn't work. But that won't be an issue if someone else texts you.
any other messenger leave a comment and Ill be happy to help
***if you are just asking about if you should read it or not because of your feelings not because of you not wanting him to know if you read it or not, I suggest your reading it because you need to hear his feelings too.***
Good luck Yeah Only if you think what he wrote will help you in any way (if you two recently broke up). But if it's been a while then you can read it, just incase he needs help with something. Remember that you don't have to reply, and they're only texts I wouldn't. What could he possibly say to you that MATTERS, that he couldn't say whilst you were together?

- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is she lying about texted photos directly saving to camera roll? Basically I need to know if my friend is telling the truth when she says photos texted to her phone automatically get saved to the Camera Roll (she has an iPhone). Doesn't matter if it's a default or configured setting, but just is this a possible thing for iPhones (I don't have one).
- IPhone5 read 5%, plugged in to charge then instantly read 26%? It's been doing this a lot lately. Earlier it read 37% and I restarted it and it read 63%. Do I have a bad battery or is the percentage reader just not accurate?
