I can't get iTunes to install on my computer?

My computer froze while I was running an update on my itunes a month ago, when I restarted my computer itunes could no longer run, I've tried to do everything to reinstall it, I uninstalled and reinstalled and it began to give me error messages saying I had "insufficient privileges", I ran the install as an administrator and it still gave me the same message, I tried to download the installer on a different computer and transfer it via a flash drive and it gave me the same message, I tried transferring all the itunes files needed to run it from one computer to my own and still no luck, I tried downloading it through a torrent and it worked but it was iTunes 8 and I have an iPhone so it won't connect to anything before 9, an I could not find a torrent for any recent itunes (I'm sure because its a free download); I'm an avid music downloader so the fact that I haven't been able to update my music in a month is absolutely killing me, and I have a couple trips coming up and need to update my phone before I go if anybody can give me a solution it would be greatly appreciated!

Delete iTunes all together, than restart your computer. Try reinstalling it from the website. If that don't work, contact iTunes or go to the apple store.

  • Why can't iTunes download and install iOS 7? I can't update to iOS 7 with just my iPhone. I need Wi-Fi. So I've tired downloading and installing 5 times already in iTunes. Each time it tells me it's gonna take 25-26 hours. But when it gets to 21 hours left, a small page would appear saying "An unknown error has occurred (9006)." It's getting me frustrated. Is there something I'm doing wrong while updating to iOS 7?

  • ITunes on Apps tab Says Install on Some Apps? I have a couple apps on my iTunes that say Install instead of the usual Remove. I've noted that these apps are the apps that I've had and then deleted, but not all of my deleted apps are on there. How do I remove these apps from my iPhone's iTunes? On iTunes 11, right click --> delete does not show up. On iTunes 11, going to the library and manually deleting them doesn't work either.
