I can't decide whether to buy a samsung galaxy s3 or the iphone 5?

I'm having trouble deciding which phone to buy. I want to know which phone is best to buy and why. All answers are much appreciated.

IPhone 5! I have experienced both and the iPhone works better. I find it easier to use and keeps going longer. I used to have a galaxy, but it would always shut down and the battery wouldn't last very long. But the final choice is up to you! Enjoy whichever phone you get!

As you may of noticed. ALOT of the other answers seem to be Apple fans.

From someone who likes both phone and has owned both:

Samsung Galaxy S3 pros:
Big HD screen
Ability to open 2 apps on the screen
More free apps than Iphone
Ability to customise everything from widgets to moving wallpapers
A LOT of camera features and other features, for example, when you are texting someone, you can just hold the phone to your ear and it calls them.
Better Multitasking
Better battery life for internet and media usage

Samsung Galaxy S3 cons:
Plastic body
Some think the phone is too big, due to big bright display it has
not as good looking as Iphone
Back cover is flimsy when taken off.

Iphone pros:
Has around 1000 more apps (android has almost 800, 000 and IOS has around 800, 000, this is not including duplicate apps)
Better looking
Easier to use if you are a beginner
Great phone for those who can't think for themselve and have to follow the crowd (personal opinion but true)
slightly louder speaker
Better battery life for phone calls

Iphone cons:
Screen is small by todays standards
Apps can be far too expensive
tied down to Itunes to sync your media and apps
lower resolution screen.

There both awesome! But the S3 is outselling the S3 in 90% of all countries due to its rich features. The reason you may see everyone have a iphone is due to shallow minds of not giving a superior alternative a chance. Iphone users make up 30% of the USA mobile communications. While android 50% and 20% windows phone and others.

OR wait until the end of this month. The S4 comes out. And that thing. Is just mind-blowing.

You can't lose with either phones. Both phones are GREAT!

Here are some reasons why you may want either phone.

iPhone 5.
-smaller (easier to hold, fits in your jeans better, more discreet)
-App Store apps, iTunes (popular apps are available on both, but there are some exclusive apps just for iOS)
-easier to use. (not complicated or confusing)
-takes great pictures

Samsung Galaxy S3
-nice big screen (easier typing, easier to see pics, web pages, movies)
-has swappable batteries and up to 64gb micro sd card slot
-also takes great pictures.

you should try holding both in your hands and find out which one fits more comfortably for you. You can't go wrong with your choice.
