I can't find my Apps in my latest version of iTunes?

I had updated to the latest version of iTunes a week ago. And today when I tried to sync my iPhone I discovered that I can't find my Apps in the Library. Nor can I find the Apps section in the Store. Now I can only find the Apps installed on my iPhone but not the rest that I had purchsed over the years. What happened? Can anyone tell me where is it located now or how I can check with my Apps in Library?

What happens is (and this is very unfortunate), Apple Technology wants you to pay for the same songs on Itunes that you already had if you upgrade. This can most likely be resolved in your case by doing one simple thing.

Uninstall the latest version of itunes on your phone, and you will most likely see the old songs that you have in your old itunes. By default (this is how many computers work), most likely itunes will go back to the original, previous version that you had without you having to reinstall the software.

If you find that itunes doesn't go back to the previous version and that the previous version was wiped from your phone's memory, reinstall it, and most likely you will get back the songs you previously had.

Another alternative option is to downgrade to the other version you had by simply downloading the older version. This will do one of two things. It will either wipe the new version from your phone, or it will just add the old version.

Itunes is much online now, so most likely getting the old software back will bring back the phone's memory of the old songs you had.

If this doesn't work, sorry to tell you this, but you may have to download or purchase the songs again.

If I can make a recommendation, emp3 is a great place to get mp3 music, CD recordings, vinyl recordings, cassette recordings, albums, etc, for no charge. You just download the file after some prompts, and that is it. This would save you a lot of time and money in the end.

Yes, it is technically illegal, but cops these days are worried about real crime, not downloading music. They are worried about things that actually matter like stolen credit cards.

Hope this helped.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
However, I'm referring to the Apps (Applications) that I bought over the years and not the music I'm concerned. I can't find a way that Apps will appear again in Library of iTunes. Also, now when I go to the Store, I an only see Music, Movies,.etc but no more Apps there.
The info for downloading music could be helpfule though.

Apple removed app management from desktop iTunes' bag of tricks to make it better for music. They are still available through the iOS app store.

That version of iTunes no longer allows for app management. You'd have to do that through the App Store on your iPhone.

  • How to transfer music from the latest version of iTunes into your iPhone? There was an update on iTunes around the end of November 2012, and I hate it. I don't even know how to transfer music from iTunes into my iPhone. The older version of iTunes was so much easier to use, but this latest version is a little more difficult
