I can't get Internet on my iPhone

I have just got a second hand iPhone 4S it's not that old. My sister has set up my phone to my home Internet so that when I'm at home I don't have to pay for my Internet and I have always got it. Well sometimes when I'm at home I can't get Internet why is that. Also when I go out side it can be any where I can never ever get Internet and my crap Vodafone £60 phone can get Internet when I go out and yes I have got credit I have brought a £10 pack for my phone that includes the web btw I'm on pay as you go. All my friends that have the iPhone can get on the Internet when there out why can't I we can be in the same room and they can get on the Internet mad I can't I don't understand why I can't please help me.

Go to settings and check whether you've turn on the network data connection, it should be somewhere under phone or connection category. I don't remember where exactly it was because I don't have iPhone now.

  • Why does my iPhone still charge for Internet even when I'm not using Internet? So, I recently got a pay monthly plan with my new iPhone 4s. When i'm out and about I'm usually updating my twitter and Facebook account. But, when I'm put my phone down, 3G still says I'm using it and charging me. So do I have to turn it off when i'm finished? Or is there a much easier way?
  • What is the oldest Mac Computer I can get that can have internet and play DVDs? I'm not really much on computers, so that is why I'm looking for something cheap, but still can have internet and play DVDs, and also if it can run videos as well. ( just for extra, can also connect with an Ipod/iphone)
  • My Iphone is not letting me access the internet or internet based apps? I have an Iphone 5. Never had any issues but now it won't connect to the internet or any apps. It does the same thing it does when I have no service (just has that little circle symbol that means it's trying to get through). Orginally, I thought it must be a universal problem but everyone else has service and they are in the same location as me. Also I always use my phone here with no problems. I have tried turning it off and on again but nothing.
