I can't send standard text messages on my iPhone 6 when I turn off cellular data?
IIm not sure if IIm just being stupid about this or not, but I can't send standard text messages when I turn my cellular off. I need to cut back on my data usage, so I like to turn it off. Any ideas on what's happening?
SMS does not use data, iMessage uses data.
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- Should I turn on or turn off my cellular data on my Iphone 4? I want to use as little data from my monthly plan as possible. Should I turn off my cellular data? It says it would restrict all data to WI-FI if turned off.
- Iis it good to turn off cellular data on iPhone? I just got an iPhone and there's an option to turn off cellular data. Is it good to be turned off and use Wi-Fi instead?
- If you turn off cellular data on an iphone, does it still charge you? On an iPhone, you can turn off the cellular data. Under Settings; General; Network it gives you the option to turn off all cellular data. If you do that, does it still charge you monthly for data?
