I can't transfer songs from my MacBook to my iPhone 5?
I tried transfering songs from my old MacBook Pro to my new iPhone 5 and it wouldn't let me. It said I had to install the most recent iTunes so I tried and I couldn't because I had to install the newest Mac OS X software first which I'm really behind on and not able to do. Is there another way? And is it easier to transfer with a pc computer?
But which OS X do you have? Tiger? I mean, it should work even if you are running on Snow Leopard. Try downloading iTune from Apple and not from Check for Update.
About using a pc, you should have no problem with it, since it won't ask you to update to the latest Windows.

- Macbook, itunes, help. I can't transfer songs into iPhone? When I inserted iPhone to my computer, there was an software update available but I canceled. Because I get used to old version and when I do updates icons and everything are different. Is this reason why I can't transfer songs?

For some reason, iTunes won't download ALL the songs to my iPhone 6s from my PC. For example if I want to download a whole album it will only download few songs from that album.
