I can't turn my iPhone on. It's not dead and I have a broken lock button?

My iPhone 4 shut off last night. Thinking it just died, I went and plugged it in. I came back a few hours later but it still wasn't coming on. I left it plugged in all night and checked it again this morning but it still wasn't on. My lock/sleep button is broken so I can't reboot it. I've tried plugging it in to my computer but my computer won't even recognize that I've plugged it in. I've run out of things to do. Anyone have any suggestions? Besides calling Apple? =/

If it is still under 90 days of purchasing it, you can exchange it for a new one.

I tried pressing the lock button as hard as I can, but it still won't turn on. Before my phone turned off it was 73% . I tried plugging it into my laptop and I had no success. Are there any ways for it to turn on? Please and thank you. I also don't have time to go to the apple store.

  • My iphone 4's lock button is broken. Is there any other possible way to turn it on? Its not my current phone, but I need to download music & pictures off it but its off and the button is totally unusable. I tried to talk to the Apple store but I can't get the serial number off the phone (due to the fact that its OFF ) so they were unhelpful.
  • IPhone won't turn on or charge! Broken lock button Yesterday my iPhone 4S turned off by its self and I can't get it to turn on. I tried charging it but nothing happens. My lock button is broken so I can't hold the home/power buttons to turn it on. My phone won't even charge on my laptop so iTunes has no device connected to it. Please Help! Before it tuned off it had about 40-ish percent. I've had it charging since last night hoping it would help but nothing's happened.
