I can't use my iphone after software update what do I do?
So my phone told me to update the software and so I did. But after updating, my phone wouldn't turn on, the only thing that showed up was the screen that's telling me to connect to itunes, and I did, but it stayed on that screen and itunes said I can't use it unless I restore the backups. The backups were stored in another computer which is broken, and I can't restore with my itouch backup, and I have no clue what to do because my phone won't turn on at all nor are the back-up keys showing…
I've had the same problem with two previous iPods… I only have one piece of advice… And that is to take it to the apple store and have them sort it out for you
- Will discontinued apps be avaliable on my iPhone after a software update? Hi, I'm looking to update my iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0 to iOS 7.1. I have a few apps installed from the apps store that are no longer avaliable to buy, such as the original Flappy Bird. I'm concerned that these apps will not be avaliable after I update. I plan on backing up my phone first, but will the backup save these apps from being gone forever? Is there a way to prevent these apps from being deleted other than backing up my phone? Or will these apps simply be no longer avaliable?
- Why can't I Update My iPhone 3G Software? I have a iPhone 3G. I did not have a sim card in it. I did not use the phone part of it. I just use the iPod part on it. On iTunes when I hit check for updates this message. "iTunes could not check for an update to carrier settings for your iPhone. An unknown error occurred (1631) ". What did I need to do to update my software?
- Is ''Iphone'' software only or hardware and software? I've never had an Iphone. I always see it anounced in an absolutely black device, such as this one: http://pective.com/m/iphone-5 I wonder whether, when you're going to buy one, you go to the apple store and buy the whole thing, or look for a Nokia or Sony smartphone and then go to the Apple website and buy and download the software into your device.
- In the middle of an iPhone update and my iTunes won't recognise my phone in order to continue to update. Can I stop the update now? Neither the computer nor iTunes are recognising my phone and I've been working on his for an hour, I want to stop the update so I can go to bed, how can I do that? It's only at the stage where it has a symbol on the screen of the iPhone cable linking to iTunes
