I didn't like Christmas this year?

I don't have my cell phone. I just didn't have a good Christmas this year. My parents kept asking(well yelling) why I was so in grateful for my presents even though u I said thank you and I'm ver grateful. Is this a lot for Christmas.cuz most ppl on youtube said they got iPhones and laptops and this feels like nothing to me even though I originally got a lot. I just really wanted my phone I think which is not an iPhone. I'm 14.

-A little one direction pillow
-One direction poster
-hot pink blanket
-a few makeup things
-a flat iron
-a poster
I got a vest and a shirt but I didn't like it and asked to return it

Am I acting ungrateful?

I think that you should appreciate that they thought of you well enough to even give you gifts.

Some kids out there that are less fortunate than you don't even get gifts. There's also kids that would rather ask for a house, clothes, or a family for Christmas.

Christmas is not about material things and what you get. No wonder you were disappointed in Christmas this year. You should focus your attention on the right things, go see the Nutcracker of a Christmas Carol (read the book), think about the poor and those who have nothing for Christmas- not even family to share it with. If you focus on material things and possessions you not only will be disappointed by Christmas but by life. Have fun with your friends, enjoy the holiday for what it is. If you have a religious inclination, read the book of Matthew and it will give special meaning to Christmas.

Yeah because 1. You asked to return the short and vest and 2. You're posting this question.
But I mean you got more than I ever get but then again I never ask for anything (except this year, I wanted some nike gear-I'm an athlete lol) so usually it's one nail polish or a body spray for me but I'm happy either way. Some people get so caught up with the gifts that they forget what Christmas is all about, celebrating Jesus' birth and being with your loved ones. I barely got to see my family this year, I'm only 17 but worked 8 hour shifts yesterday and today but it doesn't matter, all that matters is being grateful and happy since you don't have to get anything for Christmas at all, but your parents did anyways
Also I work at a fast food restaurant and it broke my heart to see some people sitting there all day because they have no family to spend it with

Yeah, you kind of are. Christmas is not about anything you just said. It's about celebrating the birth of Christ and doing things that make him happy. Concentrating on why you didn't get as many gifts that you wanted is irrelevant. Appreciate the fact that you got anything at all and if you don't have a phone now, you'll get one eventually or you can save up for one yourself.

You know, I have a cousin who doesn't have any kinds of those stuff. She wanted those kinds of stuff but her dad who works overtime doesn't have that type of stuff to buy for her daughter. You know, you're one of the people I know who gets a lot of gifts. Be grateful of what you have. You have a nice family. You have beautiful body and hair. You have a fair life. You get all those things that girls want these days. You already have a bunch of stuff, why are you making this forum? You may not get a phone this year but maybe next year and they'll have a brand new one you will love. Be grateful and enjoy your life.

Your family might not have the money for cell phones and lap tops. I never got any crazy expensive electronics as a kid either( unless I paid for them). You got plenty of gifts. I know it's hard when your disappointed to be grateful. I get it. Especially, when all your friends have cool gifts. But you still got a lot of nice things. If the clothes don't fit return them otherwise keep them
