I don't know what to do? Raising my nephew?
I've been raising him since he was 1 now he's 11. I love him so much. I'm 27 and I've given up so much for him until I feel he's so unappreciative. I don't have kids or time for myself just always working trying to provide. But now I've started giving him chores and he hates it and talks back. He thinks he shouldn't have to do anything. He's constantly asking for games and iPhones. He's also lying about any and everything now until I can't trust him. Anything I tell hi to do he does the opposite. I'm just at the point where I'm tired and want to live my life but feel guilty. Everyday is becoming a battle. His mom is unfit. I love him but so overwhelmed

Make him do chores to earn an allowance. He can use the money to buy stuff.

One of 2 things is happening here. Either you're not applying the right kind of discipline, or else he needs counseling. For example, all kids hate chores! But in a well run home, they do the chores anyway and they never talk back. That's because they don't want the consequences they'll get. You didn't say what you do when he talks back, but obviously it's not enough or it wouldn't keep happening. This isn't pointing fingers, but your life will be so much smoother once you get him to understand you run that home, not him. So in addition to providing love and support, you need to have a chat with him and get specific with him on which behaviors need to change and what will happen if they don't.
I mentioned counseling because if this is new behavior, he may be reacting to the fact he has no dad (apparently) and an unfit mom. You're doing a great thing here, but I'm sure you realize it's very uncommon. He's old enough to wonder why his parents aren't around, and it's also possible other kids are making fun of him.
His behavior is very typical of tweens and it's only going to get worse before it gets better. But if you can survive the teenage years chances are it'll have been a rewarding experience for you. You'll be amongst the honored guests at his graduations and wedding. You'll be the first one to get to see his children and you'll be the one he loves for the rest of his life for all you gave to him.

- My nephew got a message on his iPhone that we don't know what it means? My nephew was updating his iPhone to IOS6 at his friends house. A little while later he received a message on his phone that says: "Phone number added to "noahs ipod". "noahs ipod" is now using =1. ### (nephew's phone number) for iMessage". Can anyone tell me what that really means? And how do we get rid of that?
- Itunes can't find my files and I don't know where they are? I recently downloaded around 50 or so songs using video2mp3.net. When I download the song from the website it has the option of opening the download when it's complete, saveing it, etc., and each ime i just click open because it automatically opens the song in my itunes. After syncing my music to my iphone tons of the songs have exclamation points next to them, saying that they can't be located. I can't find where my computer downloaded the files to, can someone help please!
