I downloaded a minecraft pe map?

I went to a website and downloaded a map for minecraft pe. It redirected me to a file Sharing website called 4 shared. Is the map I downloaded ilegal? I have no idea who the creator is. By the way is iPhone explorer suposed to cost money because the one I download was free. Please try to awnser correctly try not to be silly. Thank you. By the way the map is filled with fancy materials and buildings, the place is spotless. Please answer me.

I didn't know you could download maps for Minecraft PE, but if it is possible, i would guess it's legal.

It's legal, infact Mojang supports custom maps and mods. As long as you're not jailbroken there's no problem and even if you are jailbroken it's fine cause the US court said jailbreaking is legal: P

Having known that the native Maps app on iPhone doesn't load maps without Wi-Fi or without cellular data (which is expensive abroad), I need an app that can have maps loaded. I know Maps can have the whole route loaded but not zoomed in, but when it comes to cities, it is necessary to have a map that loads when you zoom in, to see intersections and such.
