I droped an alcohol beverage in my iphone and now the screen doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

So, let s say that I, hypothetically, droped an entire alcohol glass in my iphone. And now it's screen doesn't work.
Can someone help me, hypothetically, solve my problem? And no, admiting my mistake and going to the store is not an option. Hypothetically, of course

Claim on your hypothetical insurance

Hypothetically, it would suck to be you because the odds are very poor that you can fix it yourself. The "turn it off immediately and use the rice in a bag method" to try to save it is too late to use now. You fried whatever it is that you don't want to fry. If you find a way, let us know because my old ipod suffered that same fate (well, rain not a drink but same idea) and is useless anymore.

No

Hypothetically if you spilled something on your iPhone, let alone 'an entire alcohol glass in' your phone, then hypothetically the only solution here is to buy a new one and pull backups of your data from the cloud or your computer.

Hyper-pathetically, it might be toast,
which, considering that alcohol is often used for toasting,
would be quite apropos.

Have you tried the white rice trick yet?
(The rice actually attracts almost all water and moisture out of cell phones)

Use a hand wipe to wipe off any sticky residue.

Put your phone in a 'zip-lock' style bag and add enough rice into the bag to completely cover the phone.

Let it sit for a couple of days in the rice, remove the phone and try it again.

Best of luck!

Have you tried putting it in rice? No, seriously. If that does not work then I sure hope you have insurance on your device!

Hypothetically, you will need to buy a new phone.
