I dropped my iPhone 5, and now the Home button doesn't work
I dropped my iPhone while trying to fit it into a case today, and it didn't have a case on at the moment. I was at a store in the mall, so it fell to the hard ground from about 2-3 feet high. Now the Home button doesn't work normally. Sometimes it will, but that's rare. Most times (99% of the times) I'll push it and click it, but nothing happens. I'm so mad at myself for being so dumb and dropping it! I have T-Mobiles' JUMP program thing that comes with the Handset Protection for a fee of $10 extra per month, and I tried to file a claim today after the accident, and it tells me that my deductible is $175, so that' what I have to pay! I Really can't afford to pay that right now, since I still haven't even finished paying off the phone (I've only had it for like 3 weeks) I Really need help! What should I do to make the button work? I've tried resetting it, but it's still the same. And I've also tried to re-calibrate it, but nothing.

-Should I just wait and finish paying my phone and then get a new one using the JUMP thingy, maybe?

Well, I don't know what you can do to fix it, but their is a touch screen home button. It's called assistive touch! It's a little home button on the screen just in case something like this happens.

- Power button and home button doesn't work on iPhone 5C? Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
- My iPhone 7 randomly restarted and now the home button doesn't work? I was just using my iPhone 7 and all of a sudden the screen went black and turned off and then turn back on by itself and then the home button doesn't work anymore except for the thumb print sensor. Why did this happen and can I get it replaced?
- My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!
