I dropped my iPhone 5 in water, will it work again?
I hurried up and dried it and put it in rice!
it worked for a little bit and then it just shows the apple logo but i have it not plugged in and in a tub of rice.
has anyone had any luck with their iphone and it being dropped in water?

Most likely. My mom once washed my ipod in the washing machine, I took it out when I heard it banging against the sides of the dryer when my pants were drying. I just left it in a bowl of rice for about a week and a half and took it out, it worked fine. Hopefully it works out the same for you dude.
Go to nearest apple service station and tell them about the water problem.
- Pics appearing again n again in Iphone even after deletion? Some one has clicked my pics from i Phone. I have also deleted it from his camera roll and photo Stream but still he is able to recall that pic again n again. Person is not using i cloud i have. May be using some kind of app i have no idea. - I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone in some water and now the sound won't work? I dropped my iPhone in water, and the sound is sorta malfunctioning. The iPhone still works, and it still vibrates, and I can listen to voicemail, ect. But I can't use sound when I'm playing games or listening to music. I've tried some things and I can get it two work for a couple of seconds but its driving me crazy. Any suggestions?
