I dropped my iPhone and the screen cracked?

Okay so my iPhone screen cracked and I have to tell my dad because he bought me it. How do I tell him? I speak to him over the phone because he doesn't live with me. I want to be honest with him.

Many computer repair shops fix tablets and cell phones as well.

Just tell him. He'll understand. Any chance he added insurance when he bought it? You might also check iCracked.com… You can send it to them, they can come to you and fix it, or they have DIY kits.

Try not to bring it up right now if he is the mean kind. But since your saying you want to be honest to him, I'm guessing that you have gained a lot of trust in him an you love him because he Is a great father. If you go to repair shops, they have replacement screens for iPhones. Or if you still have warranty, go to your nearest apple model shop and they will replace it for you. Remember: all iPhones have one year warranty. Or put tape as a screen protector, and say its just unlined tape, that you put on your screen. Tell everyone that you did a very bad job of putting it on because you were in a hurry. (I do this because I don't want to waste money on cheap stuff that come off). And if you want good tape, specifically use scotch packing tape,(the clear kind of course) and you can get it for like 2.50 at your local stores. They are really easy to find. So you better hide that mistake!

  • I dropped my iphone 6s and only the top right corner cracked, but the screen has vertical white lines;? The lines are not opaque and change color according to the colors displayed on the screen (i.e. Yellow produces red lines, etc.) Also the very right side of the screen is unresponsive and the rest of the screen keeps opening random apps and pressing random things. Calls still come through and the audio is fine. My question is, what's broken/needs fixing and about how much would it cost?

Then somebody spilt a bit of drink on it and now part of the screen won't work. I can't use the letters I anddm because the screen won't work in that spot.
