I dropped my iPhone in diet coke and the liquid shows up in the screen. What do I do?

I dropped my iPhone 4 in diet coke yesterday and put in a bag of rice when I got home. The phone turns on but the liquid shows up IN the screen. I can see my apps clearly but some parts are dimmer because of the diet coke. The coke in the screen barley went away over night in the rice. What's my next step? Is the liquid in the screen going to go away? I don't have a warranty on it.

Put it in a microwave for 5 minuets the radiation from it will cause all the coke to evaporate leaving the iPhone 4 clear and working fine.

There's no way to know if it's permanently damaged. Take it to an Apple store. If you purchased it online or from your mobile provider… It's still better to go to an Apple store. That's where you'll get your best help. I'd investigate that microwave suggestion first before trying it. There's metal on that phone. It's clearly visible. You can't put anything metal in a microwave… It'll arc, and seems to me, definitely fry your phone.
